Because of the recent changes Entrecard has made, I have seen many of my friends remove the widget from their site.I joined Ecard about a year ago, and it opened the door to many blogs I would never have found.
I still think Ecard is a valuable tool for most bloggers, and will continue to be a part of the group, but I am not at all happy about being forced to allow ads on my site that I do not approve of, and ads that I will not profit from.
I can only hope that somewhere, someone is working to provide another service to help bloggers connect

Yes its still worth to add EC on my blog, still bring me traffic. I just post about EC on my blog. I found your blog through EC too bro :)
I agree with adgitize. They are actually making me money and giving me more traffic.
Hmm, are you sure? I thought you can filter which ads you want to show on your entre widget... You might have set it to automatically approve the ads. Otherwise, you can still manage which ones to show, you can also reject the ones you don't want to.

I am hanging in for a while longer just to see how bad the ads are and whether or not they allow us to choose which ads are being advertised.
I've been writing a lot about this recently and I'd encourage you to check my post Post EntreCard Blog Promotion. Like others that have commented, I strongly recommend Adgitize for a place to advertise your blog as well as advertisements to click on.
Another part of EntreCard is your Drop Inbox. I believe that BlogCatalog may be the best for this functionality.
I go into more detail in my blog post. I hope you stop by and read it, as well as fill out the survey that I have about blog advertising network usage.
I have moved over to Adgetize and can get my daily drops done in about 30 minutes unless I stop to make comments.
Which I often do because almost every blog that is or was with EC is now with Adgetize.
100 drops a day will pay you back for their service.
I had almost 50 comments on my WW post yesterday and that was without EC.
And I don't miss the constant changes and hours and hours of dropping either!!

BlogExplosion is still a great source of traffic. They don't seem inclined to change things up in the near future, either.
I'm still on Entrecard, but the changes have been horrible.

It really does suck that Entrecard decided to do this. But the good I guess out weighs the bad...cause I've definitely found some awesome bloggy friends.

Entrecard is great. The pros definitely out-weigh the cons. I have found many good bloggers and I am thankful... the other blog promotion sites are also good, but I don't blame Entrecard for doing what they need to do to survive.
I'm not happy about the things thay are doing as well.but I'm sticking around.I have seen quite a few blogs that are voicing their dissatifaction with Ecard.some have even been bounced out.I was one of them until I raised a big stink about it,I was re-instated.Now I'm gonna stick around if only to be a thorn in their side.
I have just recently joined Entrecard so I am not aware how it was before. So far I have been able to control what ads go on my blog and it has considerably increased my traffic.
I have yet to check out Adigitize but perhaps that will be my next task.
