Blogger will not Publish ?

Look at my Clyde hiding in an old box. He loves to get in a box or a laundry basket and peek over the side and watch me He loves to hide Kind of the way my posts have been ever since I downloaded IE 9 When I did the automatic update of of the explorer 9 install, for some reason things did not work out with my Google blogger and I could not post anything. I read on the help sites that it was being fixed, and it would take a few days, and that turned into weeks. I gave up and just deleted it. If you are having the same probs that I had, just follow these steps 1) Click open start and type view installed updates 2) Find the Internet Explorer 9 and click on it and then click the uninstall tab 3) Allow computer to remove and restart Your all done, get back to your posts : )

Cleaning My Ecard House

Have you got some Ecard sites you hit almost daily, even if the post is old ? I have some sites I hit and drop on and was noticing that many of them looked the same so I did a second look, and noticed some of the posts were 4 to 6 months old.

These folks still drop on me, and still advertise at my site, I guess they are on an extended break.

The others I left messages on the Ecard site asking their status, and if they were still blogging.

It takes precious time to make drops, and if no one is available to appreciate the effort, seems like a waste.

A Bad Word ?

In a forum today, I was involved in a heated debate because I said a bad word.
I had no idea it was bad.
I did not even know it was offensive.
I said the " click " word
The discussion started over the cost of ads, and placement. One commenter was complaining about in-text ads, and another was complaining over the poor results from the ads he had on his site from Project Wonderful.
The in-text poster asked me while I was reading blogs, what type of ad appealed to me, and what, if anything would make me visit a sponsor ?
I explained to him that if I was at a food site and saw something for recipe's, or coupons, I was clicking the ad.
If I was at a travel site and saw information on hotels, or coupons or even free guides I would click the ads.
Whatever site I was at, food, travel, politics, that is what I was interested at the time, and if I could get something free, or even a coupon, I would click the ad.
That is when I was hit with the names, and called thief, and click bandit, and people typing in all caps telling me that ads cost money, and I am doing nothing but wasting their hard earned advertising dollars.
I do not click ads to waste any ones money, and I do not try to commit any kind of fraud by clicking them. To me, the ads are like the coupons that come in a Sunday morning paper, and I like to check them out.
So I am just gonna keep clicking, I hope you folks don't mind

Dropping Like.............................

Because of the recent changes Entrecard has made, I have seen many of my friends remove the widget from their site.
I joined Ecard about a year ago, and it opened the door to many blogs I would never have found.
I still think Ecard is a valuable tool for most bloggers, and will continue to be a part of the group, but I am not at all happy about being forced to allow ads on my site that I do not approve of, and ads that I will not profit from.
I can only hope that somewhere, someone is working to provide another service to help bloggers connect
